- Anger management for moms
- Help for angry moms
Natalie is a certified professional life coach who helps discouraged Christian moms overcome destructive anger and burnout. She struggled with destructive anger for years before becoming a peaceful parent. She shares what life looked like then, how she learned to process her anger, and how other moms can do the same.
Whether you sometimes react irrationally, yell or are passive aggressive with your child(ren), you’ll learn some great tactics to promote healing and healthy relationships within your family.
Natalie grew up in a home where anger was processed through screaming and yelling and slamming doors. She carried those behaviors into her marriage and eventually into parenting, too.
When her oldest daughter was little, she says you’d find them both on the floor yelling and throwing a fit.
“If she would just listen, if she would just stop throwing fits, then I wouldn’t get so angry.”
Natalie and her husband took their daughter to therapy and it turned out the therapist recommended she get help, not her daughter.
“It was a relief for someone to say that I was the problem.”
Over the years, she’s become familiar with her triggers and learned how to process anger in the moment.
Because of her own personal growth, Natalie’s relationship with her husband and daughters has grown and changed, too.
Listen in as Natalie walks us through the difference between anger vs. destructive anger. She also shares how we can pinpoint our own triggers and identify and process our anger to move toward more peaceful parenting tactics.
